Saturday September 24th 2011 @9:00am make your way to the Roxy Theatre @ 46 Brock St W. for the the Shorts For Shorties Film Festival presented by the Roxy Kids In Action and The Roxy Theatres of Uxbridge.

This Family Friendly Event ...

... presents the newest films premiered at the recent 2011 June Short Film Festival in Toronto. There will be baked goods and coffee available as well as the usual concession popcorn, candy and drinks!

Tickets which are $4.00 each can be purchased in advance at Presents, Presents, Presents or at the door.

Uxbridge Celebration Of The Arts celebrates the works of artists of all ages and encourages the youth of our community to participate and enjoy through mentoring projects, exhibits, and events like this, the Children's Art Show and Youth Photography Exhibit.

This sounds like so much fun!  Just a little far for a day-trip with the grandkids, but perfect for families in the Uxbridge area.

Kathy, what a great name for this event "Shorts for Shorties", it sounds like there's a lot of celebrating the Arts in Uxbridge Ontario going on.
